Lake Manyara

This park is located in between Lake Manyara and the Great Rift Valley. The way to the national park is already breathtaking.

The diversity of animals in Manyara is huge. It is inhabited by lions, elephants, different primates and 350 different species of birds. A true must for birdwatchers!

The park can be reached in about two hours from Arusha by car. Another possibility is to fly here, since Lake Manyara Airport is not far. It can be visited as a day trip, or included to a longer safari to Serengeti, Ngorongoro or Tarangire.
