Mount Longido

Mount Longido is located in Tanzania, on the way to the Namanga border with Kenya. It is about one to two hours driving from Arusha. On the way there you will have the chance to visit Maasai villages and market in Longido (twice a week).

The mountain is 2637m high and can climbed in one day. There is a possibility to camp on the mountain and summit the next day.

Mount Longido is located, as you would expect, close to the town Longido, inhabited by Maasai and other East African tribes.

While on the summit, you have a view over Tanzania on the one side and Kenya on the other side.
