Mount Hanang

Do you want to climb a mountain, but you don't want to spend multiple days on it?
Mount Hanang is the perfect mountain for you! It is not visited a lot by tourists, which makes it even more worth to visit.

Mount Hanang is 3420m high and located near the charming town of Katesh, after the Great Rift Valley.

It is a one day climb during the day. You can descend at the same day. It will take around 6 or 7 hours to climb and come back down.
We advise to sleep one night in Katesh, so you can start climbing the next morning.

It can be easily combined with a safari to Tarangire National Park or during a road trip.
