Arusha

Arusha is something else. It has everything you need in a city. A crowded city center with shops and all the services, but when you drive for 15 minutes outside the center, you arrive in a completely different world. Surrounded by so much green, the view at mount Meru and sometimes even mount Kilimanjaro, the proximity of all the national parks and reserves. Cycling, hiking, culture, a city tour, ... Arusha has it all!

During a city tour, you can get to know the local transport, eat typical food or have a drink in a bar and visit various markets.

To satisfy your cultural needs it is a must to visit Cultural Heritage, a bit outside the city center. This is an outstanding art gallery in a wonderful building.
In the city center is the National Museum, where you can learn more about the country in general.

If you drive out of the city, you can have adventurous hikes in the woods, chasing waterfalls. Drive a little further and you will reach a paradise in the form of the hot springs or beautiful lakes.
